“You Can’t Force Buhari To Talk While On Vacation” – Presidency

The Presidency on Thursday insisted that despite the rumour making the round on President Muhammadu Buhari‘s state of health, the President is not ill.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, said this in an interview with CNBC Africa, which was monitored in Abuja.

Adesina insisted that Buhari is only in London, United Kingdom, for vacation and is not in any hospital.

He said, “The President is in London on vacation. He is not in any hospital and he is not ill.

“When he was travelling last week, the statement we put out was that he was going on vacation and during the vacation, he would do routine medical check-up and nothing has changed from what we pushed out last week.

“If anybody has fed something else into the rumour mill, that is just what it is — rumour.”

When asked if Buhari would be willing to talk to Nigerians from the UK, Adesina said such a decision could only be taken by the President himself.

The presidential aide said any attempt to compel Buhari to do so would amount to infringement on his rights.

“The fact that he is a President, he still has his rights. Compelling him to come out and talk will be infringing on his rights.

“The President will talk if he wishes to. If he doesn’t wish to, nobody will compel him to talk.

“The truth is that the President is on vacation and he has given a date on which he will return to work,’’ Adesina said.

Customs Seizes 2 Helicopters At Lagos Airport, Hands Them Over To Air Force

The Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos Command of Nigerian Customs Service, NCS, yesterday seized two Bell civil models l Helicopters which were imported into the country last year but remained unclaimed at the ware house of the Skyways Aviation Handling Company Limited ,SAHCOL, at the cargo section of the airport.

The two abandoned helicopters have therefore been handed over to the Nigerian Air Force to fight insurgency in the North East.

Confirming the seizure yesterday, the Customs Area Controller, Frank Allanah disclosed that the duty paid value of the two helicopters and other accessories was over N9,757,135,240.86.

He also said the helicopters were flown into the country as a consignment with Airway Bill Number 17232444403 through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport.

He added that the helicopters were detained at the Skyways Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL) shed pending fulfilment of all legal requirements for the importation .

According to him, “upon examination, the consignment was found to contain two civil models 412 EP of serial numbers 36608 and 36606 Bell Helicopters respectively, in standard configuration and 23 packages said to contain their accessories weighing eleven thousand four hundred and seventy five kilogrammes ( 11,075 kg).”

“The unknown importer could not produce end user certificate from the office of the National Security Adviser ( NSA) an act which contravenes section 36 sub section two Customs and Excise Management Act (CEMA) laws of the federation of Nigeria 2004.

Consequently seizure was effected on November 7, 2016 in line with section 46 of CEMA.”

However, there are reports that the two Bell Helicopters were imported by Rivers State Government during the Rotimi Amaechi’s administration.

An official of SAHCOL, who does not want to be named, confirmed that the choppers were imported by Rivers State Government.

He also said Customs reserves the right to seize any aircraft or imported item if the importer fails to show up for clearance and payment of necessary duty on the consignment.

Horror!!! Policeman Stabs Pregnant Wife To Death In Crowded Supermarket After They Had An Arguemnet At Home

Horrifying CCTV has caught the moment a raging policeman stabs his pregnant wife in a packed supermarket as frantic customers try to fight him off. Tragic Angie Katerine Herrera was shopping in a crowded supermarket in her home of Bogota when her off duty policeman husband came storming in.

Cameras in the Colombian store show stunned members of the public looking on in horror as the killer, Frey Vincente Ardila Velázquez, ran up to his wife brandishing a knife earlier this month.

Other shoppers tried to pull the off duty cop off his wife as he repeatedly stabbed her with a knife.
The video footage, which later went viral after being posted online, shows him fighting off two women, knocking one of them to the floor.

The police officer, whose name has not been released, then ran from the store leaving his wife, Angie Katerine Herrera, for dead.

But he was grabbed by eyewitnesses and passersby who held him until police officers arrived to arrest him.

The policeman had followed his wife to the supermarket in the Tunjuelito area of the city after they argued at home earlier that day.

Friends and neighbours said the couple had not been getting on well for some weeks.

The police officer, who was on leave, is being held in police custody and faces murder charges.

Bogota was considered one of the most violent cities in the world in the 1990s but is much improved following a ban on carrying guns in public.

Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has lost his eldest brother, JohnBull, to the cold hands of death.

The late JohnBull who is the eldest child of the governor’s late mother, reportedly died of chronic cancer.

Family sources said JohnBull is not of the same father with the Governor as the late Governor’s mother had him for a headmaster before she got married to Pa Arthur Okowa who is at present 84 years old in Owa-Alero community Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Charles Aniagwu who confirmed the death of the governor’s eldest brother, said: “it is true JohnBull died after a long battle with sickness. The governor is not in a happy mood at all, he was devastated, broke down and wept profusely”.

Boko Haram Suicide Bombers Now Use Babies To Carry Their Bombs – DHQ

The Defence Headquarters has revealed that female suicide bombers in the North East now use infants to evade detection.

The organisation said the suicide bombers carry out their dastardly act by carrying babies on their back, so that they are passed for innocent nursing mothers.

The Acting Director Defence information, Brig.-Gen. Rabe Abubakar, said in a statement in Abuja on Friday that the attention of the DHQ had been drawn to the new tactic.

It was revealed that the two recent suicide bomb attacks in Madagali, Adamawa State followed this pattern.

Abubakar said: “The DHQ wishes to seize this opportunity to appeal to members of the public to be patient and cooperate with the military and other security agencies while carrying out thorough security search and checks as the essence is to nip in the bud the murderous intention of the Boko Haram suicide bombers.

“The DHQ wishes to state further that the usual traffic “go-slow” at military and security check points as a result of rigorous security checks are not meant to cause public discomfort or a deliberate action to induce traffic disruptions on our roads, but an effort put in place towards protecting the lives and properties of our innocent citizens.

“Members of the public are, therefore, urged to always volunteer useful information to the military and other security agencies that would assist in exposing Boko Haram and their evil machinations in our society and to make our communities safe and secure for all to live.”

A heartbroken wife in Zimbabwe has come forth with a very uncomfortable situation she is going through at home.

Her abusive husband, 32 year Peter Sibanda, apparently brings all sorts of girls in their house, to have sex in front of her, so that she can “watch live and learn” how other women do it on her bed.

Peter Sibanda, calls his wife, Grace Nyoni, “lazy” when it comes to sexual performance. He has said he was tired of “boring bedroom sessions”, so decided to bring girlfriends over, so that her wife could observe and “learn some skills.”

He made Nyoni sleep on the floor when he is with other women on the bed.

“He doesn’t want to sleep with me in our bed, instead he prefers coming with girls to our home and says he’s doing me a favour by letting me see how other women are able to please their husbands. I’m no longer enjoying this marriage,” said Nyoni.

Nyoni turned to her mother-in-law, Eunice Sibanda, to tell about the delicate situation, and she got very angry at her son.

 “I told him to stop it because there are diseases out there. I need grandchildren,” Mrs Sibanda commented.

The wife has even admitted Sibanda has forced her to comment which of the girls she considers to be the best, and which tips she learned.

“He forces me to comment on who’s the best among his girlfriends and how many concepts did I master during their act. He also forces me to wash the sheets, preparing for another girl who will come at night,” said Nyoni.

The sleep-around husband has no shame. He is of the view that one day his wife would learn something in all his actions.

Sibanda claims he loves his wife “more than she knows,” adding that he feels he is “not rude to her”. He simply thinks he found this “brilliant method” to teach her on sexuality.

“I love my wife more than she knows. I’m not rude to her but I found that way as a brilliant method of teaching her. If she thought I no longer liked her, I would have let her go long back,” explained Sibanda.

Meet the man who says he brought Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji into the spotlight. His name is Emeka Ojukwu Torino, self-acclaimed first Nollywood producer to venture into mobile marketing.

Emeka came out recently to solicit funds for his ailing colleague Prince Uche and in a new interview with Dupe Ayinla Olasunkanmi of TheNation revealed that Prince Uche’s wife had left him.. Read excerpts below.

• You no longer act; how have you been surviving?

I have been producing since 1996. I work basically with some of the top producers and marketers in the industry. I also work with Africa Magic; they bring movies for me to produce. I am also into marketing. I am the first Nollywood actor that went into mobile marketing.

That part started some years back; having people come in contact to get their movies one on one from the producer at a subsidised rate. This happened about two to three years ago, I was the initiator of that idea; selling movies on the street.

In one week, I can boldly tell you that I sell up to 10, 000 movies. So I am still in the game, and that I can say is my first love.

Do you believe that age is one of the factors in ending one’s passion?

I don’t think age is a factor. As an actor, I can fit into any role even at an older age. But it is just that most of these our productions are done in the east, which is not so good with the age. But professionally, age should not be a hindrance to getting roles. Also, the producers do not know us as pioneers, making them offer us fees that are not worth our skills.

 

• What do you mean by fee not worth the skills you offer?

These people do not look at what we have done for the industry and also the people we have brought in and trained that have taken the name of the industry far beyond our country. They offer fee like N30, 000.

As I am speaking to you now, I am the man behind Genevieve Nnaji. I brought her into the industry, when we were doing the movie Most Wanted. Then we had the likes of these Yoruba actors like Funsho Adeolu, Femi Brainard, Tunde Coker and the rest. Also, Prince James Uche got the role for the movie Mega Fortunes; that role was meant for Jide Kosoko, but he was busy.

 

• Is forming a team to save Prince James a way of gaining prominence back to the mainstream?

This sickness that is just known to the world started since 2008. But because we have been very close and been with each other for a long time; with the help of some of my colleagues, we have been managing the sickness.

So having a team is just to help raise what is needed to save Prince’s life. What we plan is to help bring back his family after the surgery is done, and he is fit to come back home.

• What do you mean bring his family together?

The plan is to first raise the fund needed for the surgery. Then get him a two-bedroom apartment and bring back his wife who is no longer with him.

• Are you saying she left because of his sickness?

No, see, I am the right person to tell you the truth. They have been having issues before the sickness started. It has to do with his work. You know, a man leaving home for weeks and months. That was the issue.

Story Time: “Ben! So You No Gree Die Abi? As I Take Hit You Hard Reach You Still Survive Am” (Journey To Igbo-Irumole — Episode 27, 28 & THE END)

Before I entered, i inserted the ring moremi gave me on my finger. Immediately I start feeling like a god, cus what ever I think of ,will automatically happen..i looked at one of the baron bottle besides me, and it disappeared, then I thought of it appearing again and it works…

With full confidence I entered and I saw Cynthia sitting on kola’s lap, at first they didn’t see me, not until when I move a bit closer to them.. Cynthia was the first to saw me, she jumped off kola’s lap and she called kola, pointing her fingers towards me..before kola could raise his eyes towards my direction, I quickly disappear, he looked for a while but he couldn’t see me, kola thought she was drunk and he didn’t believe her..

Cynthia stood up and went to the rest room, I quickly followed her. But she couldn’t see me cus am yet to appear back to my shape.. she entered but before she could close the door I followed her, she locked the door. then I decided to move a bit closer to her and I appear back to my normal self. She almost faint when She saw me..

Me : Cynthia, I trust you, but you betrayed me.why?
Cynthia : please forgive me benji, I truly love you, but when kola hit you, he threatened to kill me if I don’t support him, that’s why..am sorry please don’t kill me
Me : give me one reason why I should spare your life?
Cynthia : cus I was forced to betray you. It’s all kola’s fault

As she was speaking, I could read her mind, though she was saying the truth ‎.I looked at her for a while and out of pity I forgive her,i asked her about the egg, she confirmed that the whites had went away with it.. I asked also about the money and she say it’s with kola. . I turned and walk out of the room, then I heard her foot steps following me, she tried to stab me with a knife, then I disappeared, with the full force of stabbing me, she was unable to control her speed,..she hit her head on the mirror stamped on the wall,and she fell and died..

I cried for a while and head straight to kola, but before I could get there he was no where to be found ,i asked the person he was sitting beside, and he told me kola went upstairs, I quickly trailed him, then I caught him trying to run away with the money..

Me : where do you think you are going?
Kola : ben! So you no gree die abi? As I take hit you hard reach you still survive am, no worry na your last time be dis..
He pull out a pistol and tried to shoot me, but the pistol did not work..i smiled and look at the pistol, the pistol disappeared and appears in my hands..kola fell down on his kneel and started begging me..why should I forgive you for all you have done?..

Out of pity I forgive kola I carry the money and walked out of the room.. on my way going I removed the ring and insert it into my pocket, not knowing the pocket is bad.
Then the ring fell out of my awareness, I keep walking till I received a strong hit on my head, I fell down and looked back but I see no one..

I dropped the bag and tried to look for the ring but it was gone. I received another hit on my left leg and I screamed out of pain, I fell down and cried.
Me : who are you? What do you want from me?
Then the person appeared, it’s kola! He had been trailing me from the moment I left his room..

Kola : you think say na only you wise abi? I don de watch you since but you no know..i hate you from onset, right from the day jahrul and others let you in, I know you are such a fool, and na that your stupidity go kill you today..
Kola hit my right leg again, this time I was laying helplessly on the ground crying out of pain..

But if I could trick the wisest being on earth, if I could steal from the most powerful being on earth, if I could face the goddess of beauty, without the help of any magic. Then I should be able to handle a human being even with both eyes closed .. I laye on the ground as kola was approaching me with a knife on his hands.. I close my eyes ,i threw sands towards his face,I rolled out of the spot, and aim for the hand with the ring, I quickly chopped it off with my knife..

Kola screamed in pain, and I quickly insert the ring to my finger ,immediately all my pains are gone, I move closer to kola and gave him a huge punch. I don’t want to have anyone’s blood on my hands so I walked away. Kola tried to attack me but he slump and hit his head on his standing knife! He died instantly ..i looked at him out of pity and walked away..

Two weeks later after enough treatment, I travelled back to visit joke and her dad. I proposed to joke and she agreed to marry me. In few days time we got married..

The next night was our h—y moon, we actually travelled to Ghana for it,.. joke entered my hotel room on a skimpy skirt, she move closer and dragged me to herself, immediately I left up her skirt and I discovered there was no undies there, as I was about to plant a wet kiss on her lips, I received a strong slap.. where could this come from? ..i tried to kiss her again and I received another one, but this time it was stronger, immediately I opened my eyes, I saw my hands under blanny’s trouser and my lips closer to his own! Jezz so na dream!

Blanny : ben! Wetin de worry u? Which time you turn gay?abi God wan punish u ni?‎

I don’t even bother to answer him, I stood up and look around, everyone was actually there starring at me…omo mehn! Dream na mumu thing o…LOL..

Story Time: “Ben! So You No Gree Die Abi? As I Take Hit You Hard Reach You Still Survive Am” (Journey To Igbo-Irumole — Episode 27, 28 & THE END)

Before I entered, i inserted the ring moremi gave me on my finger. Immediately I start feeling like a god, cus what ever I think of ,will automatically happen..i looked at one of the baron bottle besides me, and it disappeared, then I thought of it appearing again and it works…

With full confidence I entered and I saw Cynthia sitting on kola’s lap, at first they didn’t see me, not until when I move a bit closer to them.. Cynthia was the first to saw me, she jumped off kola’s lap and she called kola, pointing her fingers towards me..before kola could raise his eyes towards my direction, I quickly disappear, he looked for a while but he couldn’t see me, kola thought she was drunk and he didn’t believe her..

Cynthia stood up and went to the rest room, I quickly followed her. But she couldn’t see me cus am yet to appear back to my shape.. she entered but before she could close the door I followed her, she locked the door. then I decided to move a bit closer to her and I appear back to my normal self. She almost faint when She saw me..

Me : Cynthia, I trust you, but you betrayed me.why?
Cynthia : please forgive me benji, I truly love you, but when kola hit you, he threatened to kill me if I don’t support him, that’s why..am sorry please don’t kill me
Me : give me one reason why I should spare your life?
Cynthia : cus I was forced to betray you. It’s all kola’s fault

As she was speaking, I could read her mind, though she was saying the truth ‎.I looked at her for a while and out of pity I forgive her,i asked her about the egg, she confirmed that the whites had went away with it.. I asked also about the money and she say it’s with kola. . I turned and walk out of the room, then I heard her foot steps following me, she tried to stab me with a knife, then I disappeared, with the full force of stabbing me, she was unable to control her speed,..she hit her head on the mirror stamped on the wall,and she fell and died..

I cried for a while and head straight to kola, but before I could get there he was no where to be found ,i asked the person he was sitting beside, and he told me kola went upstairs, I quickly trailed him, then I caught him trying to run away with the money..

Me : where do you think you are going?
Kola : ben! So you no gree die abi? As I take hit you hard reach you still survive am, no worry na your last time be dis..
He pull out a pistol and tried to shoot me, but the pistol did not work..i smiled and look at the pistol, the pistol disappeared and appears in my hands..kola fell down on his kneel and started begging me..why should I forgive you for all you have done?..

Out of pity I forgive kola I carry the money and walked out of the room.. on my way going I removed the ring and insert it into my pocket, not knowing the pocket is bad.
Then the ring fell out of my awareness, I keep walking till I received a strong hit on my head, I fell down and looked back but I see no one..

I dropped the bag and tried to look for the ring but it was gone. I received another hit on my left leg and I screamed out of pain, I fell down and cried.
Me : who are you? What do you want from me?
Then the person appeared, it’s kola! He had been trailing me from the moment I left his room..

Kola : you think say na only you wise abi? I don de watch you since but you no know..i hate you from onset, right from the day jahrul and others let you in, I know you are such a fool, and na that your stupidity go kill you today..
Kola hit my right leg again, this time I was laying helplessly on the ground crying out of pain..

But if I could trick the wisest being on earth, if I could steal from the most powerful being on earth, if I could face the goddess of beauty, without the help of any magic. Then I should be able to handle a human being even with both eyes closed .. I laye on the ground as kola was approaching me with a knife on his hands.. I close my eyes ,i threw sands towards his face,I rolled out of the spot, and aim for the hand with the ring, I quickly chopped it off with my knife..

Kola screamed in pain, and I quickly insert the ring to my finger ,immediately all my pains are gone, I move closer to kola and gave him a huge punch. I don’t want to have anyone’s blood on my hands so I walked away. Kola tried to attack me but he slump and hit his head on his standing knife! He died instantly ..i looked at him out of pity and walked away..

Two weeks later after enough treatment, I travelled back to visit joke and her dad. I proposed to joke and she agreed to marry me. In few days time we got married..

The next night was our h—y moon, we actually travelled to Ghana for it,.. joke entered my hotel room on a skimpy skirt, she move closer and dragged me to herself, immediately I left up her skirt and I discovered there was no undies there, as I was about to plant a wet kiss on her lips, I received a strong slap.. where could this come from? ..i tried to kiss her again and I received another one, but this time it was stronger, immediately I opened my eyes, I saw my hands under blanny’s trouser and my lips closer to his own! Jezz so na dream!
